SOUND DESIGNER / AUDIO PROGRAMMER

Mid Sound Designer with Audio Programming skills for AAA games companies and Indie companies;
Sound Designer for movies, trailers, advertising, plugin instruments.
Sound Designer / Audio Engineer for Melda Production and Reveal Sound.

In the recent years I improved my knowledge about mix and mastering, and I worked as Sound Designer in the Game Audio Industry for the AAA Italian company StorMind Games.

I specialized in:
– production of SFX Assets;
– design of audio systems;
– implementation using Unity, Fmod, Unreal Engine and Wwise.

– Masterworks artist for the musical label Rockshots Records as keyboardist, composer and arranger, in which I produced several albums for artists from all over the world.

Music and Sound Design have always been my passions; I’ve studied them for 20 years and have always practiced them. 

I consider myself an active and dynamic person, with a constant desire to learn and get involved, willing to increase my professional skills.
Obsessed by details, my imprint is about “problem solving”, I never stop in front of the obstacles, rather I always try to find a solution to reach the final working goal, through searching and constant personal investment.

REVEAL SOUND

Sound Designer / Audio Engineer for the plugin instruments software house Reveal Sound.

My experience in Reveal Sound includes:
 Create sounds from scratch using several types of synthesis for different musical genres;
 Create and program sound banks for different plugin instruments using the proprietary platform Spire.

MELDA PRODUCTION

Sound Designer / Audio Engineer for the plugin instruments software house Melda Production.

My experience in Melda Production includes:
Create sounds from scratch using several types of synthesis for different musical genres;
Develop Synth instruments using the proprietary MSoundFactory and UnitedPlugins platforms;
Create and program sound banks for different plugin instruments.

STORMIND GAMES

Sound Designer for the AAA Italian company of videogames StorMind Games, where I managed internal projects under NDA and projects in partnership with external companies.

My experience in StorMind Games includes:
Design and produce SFX Assets about Monsters, Ambiences, Footsteps, Foley, Sounds FX, according to the AAA level of quality required;
Design and produce audio for cinematics;
Produce audio with REAPER, Ableton Live and a variety of plug-ins;
Implement audio into game engine (Unreal Engine 5.1) using middleware softwares Wwise and Fmod;
Design and code basic Blueprint audio systems;
Define the main work of each Sprint according to the Jira Scrum system;
Analyze the code to fix bugs reported by the QA department;
Implement the work in the repository using Perforce and GitHub;
Interface with the team using Discord, Miro, Wiki, Calendar and Teams.

INTERDIMENSIONAL PIPELINE

Sound Designer for the Indie American company of videogames Interdimensional Pipeline, for the project Tiger Blade.

My experience in IDP includes:
Design and produce SFX Assets production about Tigers, Ambiences, Footsteps, Foley, Sounds FX;
Produce audio with REAPER, Ableton Live and a variety of plug-ins;
Implement audio into game engine (Unreal Engine 5.1) using internal Metasound system;
Design and code all the audio system using Blueprint;
Compose interactive music on Logic Pro X and code Quartz on Blueprint;
Implement the work in the repository using GitHub;
Interface with the team using Slack.

FREELANCE
Mid Sound Designer / Audio Programmer and Composer for videogames, movies, advertising and trailers.
I work with AAA companies and Indie projects.

• Collaborate with game developers to create and implement audio content for video games;
Using software and tools, such as digital audio workstations, to edit and manipulate audio;
Mix and master audio tracks to ensure high-quality sound;
Manage and organize audio assets into libraries;
Implement audio into game engines (Unreal 5.1) using Metasound and middleware software, such as Wwise;
Communicate with clients and team members to ensure that audio needs are met;

EDUCATION
Born in Milan in January 1988, I started playing the piano when I was a child. 
My studies began at the age of 19 in 2007, the year in which I enrolled in the AMM (Modern Music Academy) in Milan, where I stayed for 5 years under the guidance of the teacher Daniele Longo, with whom I learned the basics of classical and modern music.
At the same time, in the first 2 years I studied classical piano and solfeggio with the teacher Enrica Grazioli.
After the first 5 years I continued my studies with the teacher Claudio Colombo, with whom I improved my technique and my knowledge in classical piano, harmony and solfeggio.
Between 2018 and 2019 I held musical orientation seminars at some high schools.

MMI SOUND DESIGN MILANO
In 2017 I attended courses in piano, keyboards and synthesizers with the teacher Andrea De Paoli, with whom I deepened the study of piano and keyboard techniques, and from whom I graduated in 2019 at the MMI Sound Design Milano academy, regarding the synthesizer theory and Sound Design, acquiring the teaching qualification.

NAM MILANO
In 2022 I attended the NAM (Nuova Audio Musicmedia) musical institute in Milan, following the “Music for Images” course of the teacher Davide Pantaleo, regarding the creation of music for movies, trailers, animated sequences and advertisements, acquiring the relative certificate of music producer, issued by the Lombardy Region and valid throughout Europe.

MIX and MASTERING       
Between 2021 and 2022 I attended an intensive course in Mixing and Mastering at Harmonium Studio, with the sound engineer Egidio De Biase, acquiring the basic knowledges.

AUDIOKINETIC       
In 2021-2023 I studied the Audiokinetic’s middleware Wwise, regarding the implementation of Sound Design and Interactive Music for Videogames, obtaining the 101, 201 and 251 certifications.

EVENANT
Between 2022 and 2023 I studied Trailer Music and Sound Design for Trailer Music following the courses of Evenant.

GAME AUDIO ACADEMY
In 2022-2023 I studied Game Audio Sound Design with the institute Game Audio Academy, where I specialized in Unity, Fmod, Wwise and Unreal Engine, obtaining the related certification.
